Allston Brighton Green Space Advocates

The Allston Brighton Green Space Advocates (ABGSA) formed at the Community Summit in October 2003. Residents decided that ongoing grassroots organizing was needed in order to enhance and preserve neighborhood parks and urban wilds.

Monthly ABGSA Meetings

Allston Brighton Green Space Advocates meetings occur the third Wednesday of every month from 7:00PM - 9:00PM at the ABCDC.

The Green Space Advocates may hold outdoor meetings in our neighborhood open spaces.

2009 Sustainable Practices Workshops

We have held workshops on energy efficiency and on sustainable lawncare.

Reports & Presentations

• In 2008 we released t he Green Streets Guide for Allston Brighton, a set of guidelines for greening and calming local streets. This is part of the ongoing Open Space Planning process, a holistic approach to planning Allston Brighton's green spaces.
