Community Organizing
The Allston Brighton CDC seeks a community with homes,
work and a voice for all. As a community development corporation
we are constantly seeking to provide concrete improvements
for our community while helping to promote systemic change.
Recently, ABCDC has deepened its work integrating organizing
with housing and open space, and economic development
as a tool for community change.
Our general goals:
- Have a greater effect or influence on decision-making
process within the community.
- Develop grassroots leaders by creating opportunities
for involvement in community organizing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for engagement with the community
in each initiative.
We channel our community organizing work through the
following initiatives, committees and programs:

work.
