and buildings in Allston Brighton and develops housing
for sale and for rent.

Hano Street
In the Summer of 2002, the CDC acquired 81 Hano Street,
the former home of the B.R. Gale Manufacturing Company.
The CDC demolished the existing building and is now going
through an extensive environmental remediation at the
site with the expectation of building a series of 10 attached
town houses for sale to lower-income first-time homebuyers.
The new homeowners are expected to move in Fall 2007.
