Financial Education

All of ABCDC's asset building programs involve a financial literacy component. In our Homebuying program, participants need to understand and master their financial position in order to become stable homeowners. In Saving for Success, participants need mastery of basic financial skills in order to implement their asset development plans successfully.

ABCDC offers financial education classes in partnership with the Gardner Pilot Academy. In fall and spring, we offer financial education classes to adult English language learners at the Gardner. For more information, please contact Michelle Duval of the Gardner's Adult Education Program at (617) 635-8365.

We also offer specialized workshops on topics that include, but are not limited to Wills Trusts and Estates, Buying a Foreclosed Property, and Consumer Protection.

For more information about our Money Management and Savings Programs, please contact Michelle Meiser at 617-787-3874 x218 or Ben Erikson-Farr at x211.

You can also contact MassSaves for additional information on financial education classes and information.
