The Allston Brighton CDC's homeownership program assists
low- and moderate-income homebuyers in overcoming obstacles
to homeownership by providing homebuyer education, individual
counseling, financial assistance, and access to financial
and professional resources.

Homebuying 101 in English --
4-session class

This course will focus on all aspects of buying a home. Income-eligible graduates will receive between $1,000 and 3% of the purchase price for downpayment and closing cost when they purchase a home in Boston. In addition, they will be eligible for Fannie Mae, MHP’s SoftSecond and MassHousing loan programs and other low-interest rate loans in the state. Graduates will have access to low-dowpayment financing options for buyers of all income and free individual homebuying counseling.
The registration fee is $35 per person.
