Latinos en Acción

Since 2000, Latinos en Acción has worked on the challenges facing members of the Latino community in Allston Brighton, including substandard housing, immigration, and education. Its many active members create a dialogue within the group such that community members determine the issues they want to address. Recent projects include the Bedbug Eradication Initiative and cultural events celebrating South America and Central America.

Latinos en Acción secured some funding from an earmark to the State budget to support our Bedbug Eradication Initiative, which consists of education, emergency funding to tenants, and an extermination incentive to property managers or owners who implement an integrated pest management plan.
