of market rate and subsidized apartments. Offers workshops on finding both market-rate and affordable housing. Administers
Section 8 and Mass. Rental Voucher Program subsidies in
the metropolitan region.

MassHousing is the state’s affordable housing bank.
MassHousing supports rental and home-ownership opportunities
for low- and moderate- income residents and provides loans
at rates below the conventional market value.

Citizens
Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA)

CHAPA's mission is to encourage the production and preservation
of housing that is affordable to low-income families and
individuals through research and advocacy campaigns. Through
the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative, CHAPA provides
technical assistance and training to non-profit, homebuyer
counseling agencies that offer homebuyer education workshops
and individual homebuyer counseling.
